Altar Cloth Workshop:
October 20th, 12-4pm
Join Christie and Carlon for a hands-on experience of creating your own flower/plant dyed altar cloth! Together we will learn the basics of plant/flower dyeing and the uses of altar spaces. We’ll experience a ritual of intention setting for our altar cloths before we begin. You will also get a full farm tour and learn the basics around which plants/flowers work best for the process of dyeing.
Workshop details:
The workshop will be held at the beautiful Moon Mountain Farm on the Key Peninsula on Sunday October 20th from 12pm to 4pm. The cost will be $85. Please dress for the weather as we will be outside, and bring a water bottle, your own lunch or snack, and a journal.
Your hosts:
Christie Tackett of Moon Mountain Farm is a local flower farmer, fiber artist and creative exploring the realms of nature's gifts and sharing it with her community. Building a space to welcome curious folks to come learn and explore the natural world and folk art traditions.
Carlon Ryan of Calisto Collective is a local psychotherapist and psychic medium who offers psychic readings, moon circles, and workshops, while also bringing education around witchcraft to her community.
If you are feeling called to learn more about the art of plant/flower dyeing, altar spaces, and/or simply just creating with other like-minded women, then we would love to have you join us! No experience is needed. Space is limited. Refunds will not be given within 72 hours of the workshop so if your not able to attend consider gifting to a friend.
